You've probably tried this, but have you placed the ball an inch or so to the right of the laser? I launch my 3 wood really low and doing that completely erased my no reads with 3 wood.

I set mine behind the laser and yes it does help, but I've really got to hit it with a descending blow to get it to register. Which is not a "bad" thing as I've really started to hit my 3 wood a LOT better. I've gotten some 260 type shots and drove the green in this week's tournament in round one with the 3 wood which was 255 to lead to an eagle. I still get several no reads though even with it behind the laser and I've tried several different 3 woods and it doesn't matter which one it is.

Also for the course committee, I would be more than happy to volunteer my services for course testing if needed.

I actually enjoyed this course. If you want to see one that is truly "silly" there is an East Lake course (I believe it is the first one on the list when you search East Lake) and some of the landing areas were so absurd that I played two holes and turned it off and considered not playing this week if that was the course that we were playing. Thankfully it was not :-).

Just finished..... started off great with an eagle and finished 20 something over. I don't know exactly how many over 20..... I couldn't look after a while.

I very much so enjoyed this course (probably mostly because its the best ive played in a tournament so far haha), had an eagle in each round, pitched one from the fairway on 18th in the first round from like 55 yards for the first one. If it wasn't for a couple of bad swings that led to the water and double and triple bogeys it could have been crazy good for me. Definitely a few weird holes but I prefer that personally, mixes it up

On the short par 4, I almost holed my tee shot, ran within a couple inches and stopped 3' past, I was yelling "GO IN" hahaha, forgot to record it

Joko yeah, give it a shot. Its different for everyone it seems. My friend puts his directly on the dot but I have to sit it behind it because I unfortunately don't launch my 3 wood very high off the ground. On a tee, I can place it on the dot no problem. It's not a guaranteed fix, but i have a feeling it might help.

Played my second round last night. Followed up my 83 with an 84. Brought in Ironstrokes, mthunt and Bubba22 for my ghost balls. I try to play against people on these forums. I didn't really enjoy the course as much as some of the others. Too many very short par 4s coupled with very long par 4s. I much prefer the medium length holes (370-430). My driver length of 220-240 doesn't really allow me to take advantage of the 310 yard holes (leaves an awkward approach) and I end up playing the 460+ yard holes as par 5s. My playing partners all seemed to put up pretty nice scores.
