None of the above.
1. Greens that dont have a massive amount of slope
2. Tee boxes that dont have trees directly in front of them :-)

I voted accuracy, but my real vote would be to just use ks-man's real course list. He's already done all the leg work. Those were all made by highly respected designers and they play true to their real life counterpart. They've also all been modified to play easier/shorter for sim players. You literally can't go wrong with that list. You can even sprinkle in some of the fictional courses off his other list if not everyone wanted to play a RCR every week.

I agree with this. Too me the greens are the most important factor. We know short game in sim play is the hardest to relate as In real life. So it's already difficult enough trying to read greens, etc. so I would like to see easier greens.Originally posted by Shardak View PostNone of the above.

Because you have many people ruining their rounds based in the inability to read and play the greens.
I would rather have easier greens and have the true winner who could drive the ball well, stick greens vs the winner being the expert at being able to play difficult greens.
Let's face it. In real life it's pretty easy to read a green. In TGC with some of these slopes it makes it ridiculous to read and play. Then you end up 3 or 4 putting and ruining your round.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The courses were picked based on name and length. Now they are all being tested. No more trees in front of the tee or stupid greens. Let's move on.
Keither and I put the poll together and we are picking a variety of courses. Some will be long. Some will be short. Something for everyone.Last edited by mthunt; 03-29-2016, 07:03 PM.My Courses:

I think a better length condition would be less than 7000 yards. I don't mind a 6,850 yard course from time to time. A 7,400 yard course though feels very different. I wouldn't want all 6,900 yard courses however I also wouldn't want all 6,200 yard courses.

I agree with ksman.........less than 6800 is probably a good number, 7000 starts to get loooong......big thing is long par 4s....... don't need to drive it 300 yds, ,...probably need to drive 240-250 though to score well ....just depends on your skill level just like IRL.................so course accuracy that is a playable length to the average country clubberOriginally posted by ks-man View PostI think a better length condition would be less than 7000 yards. Harbour Town is 7000. The Memorial is all of it. 7480. Muirfield is long but plays fair. It's actually quite playable. I host an event there every year. This RCR is bang on.
The dumb courses are gone. The dumb greens are gone but to be fair some like playing PGA tour length courses. There will be courses for everyone. My Courses:
