This was asked before. Is there a way to look at the leaderboard with everyone's handicaps factored in when playing the tournament? Would be nice to see where everyone is at after each round.

Hope I can finish with a good final round. Glad I made the cut...haha!
The leaderboard in the game is gross. The handicaps are applied after.

Played a bunch yesterday and got in two more nice rounds. I was playing well and watching so much of the pros on TV, I decided what the hell, might as well try playing from the tips. Went for the Sunday pin placement version which I think measured around 7,300 yards. It was actually quite enjoyable. The greens are far more severely sloped and I often wondered is this what the pros are really seeing out there. I recommend everybody try playing the full version just for fun.

Unless you have ever played it, there is no way to describe the greens,,,,,,,think 3 putt or more the whole round ,UNLESS you hit it in exactly the correct quadrant.

I just got back from a week on the road today. Didn't want to miss the Masters so I thought I play 9 warm up holes and all 3 rounds of the tournament in one run. Also used my new clubs which arrived last Friday. Well long story short, it was painful lol. I had an ok front nine in my first round just to fall apart on the back. Since I had no time left I had to pull through. Awful 2nd round but recovered in the 3rd round to have my only "good" round. Looks like you will find me on the 3rd page of the leaderboard this week lol

I feel your pain. I have played with a set of Ping i3 irons for 15 years. Went and got fitted for a new set a couple weeks ago. Played one amazing round with the new clubs, and now cannot hit them at all. Pulling irons left, distance control all over the place, shanking wedges, not sure what I have done with my swing!

Congratulations KSMan on the win. Nice shooting IronStrokes. Minus 12 is crazy.

Congratulations on winning the tour Kieth

Thanks, that was by far the best I've ever played over a 3 rounds span, think I found something with my swing and hope to continue anything in the ballpark of that would be amazing

Congrats ksman and Andy! I watched some of your last 2 rounds and your chipping was off the charts, especially with the 2 chip ins. I don't think your handicap is gonna stay too high for too long, definitely see a lot of good swings and better and better short game since I started watching your vids, nice work.

And definitely keither, great sustained play there, congrats on winning the tour! Looking forward to the spring tour with everyone

Thanks. My chipping has certainly gotten pretty good in TGC but I wonder how much that will carry to a real course. I'm not sure if it is more the knowledge of only needing to get it into a 6 foot circle or the fact that every lie is perfect (probably a combination). I feel confident taking a full swing through around the greens (no deceleration) when I play indoors. Curious to see if it holds true outdoors as well.

Fantastic performance with the -12 gross. That was impressive to see.

Congrats guys, great playing! Was hoping to give you a run for the gross title Iron, but my second round shenanigans had other ideas. Looking forward to playing a full schedule with the Spring tour. Originally thought my sim play would be limited to the winter but I can see now that this is going to be a year round thing for me.

I saw your 67 the first round and you backed it up again with another one the 3rd, very impressive! It would have gotten real interesting if that second round didn't get away from you haha

Haha yea I wonder the same thing with my chipping as well, getting fairly used to it in tgc but gonna have to get out on the course soon and see if it really translates as well. Good contact is good contact, so I'm hoping so. I'm even more curious to see if the ways the ball checks up on different chips is at least somewhat similar, otherwise I'll probably just be blasting it past the hole in real life and will have to adjust

I have found that indoor chipping has sent my real life game backwards because of the difference in lies. I think it would be different if I played regularly on a course that had consistent turf around the greens but unfortunately we don't right now.

Also I went from always chipping with a 62 down to my 54 so distance control is off.

Thanks guys, I took some lessons before playing the masters. The guy broke my short game. Hopefully I can pull it together by the next event or two.

Congrats to Ksman and Andy . Nice low scores Vincent and Iron. I recently had some real life rounds in Mexico. My firs were spot on with what I have on TGC. My Girs were 10 % less. I had trouble sticking the parking lot like greens. So if you have had big improvement here, you should see some out there.

Real life.....wrecked my short game on the sim. LOL. I am going again this Saturday. If he wrecks my driver, he's fired. He doesn't like my swing, but I have 72% Firs and about 70% IRL. Plus I hit fairly far. So..... back away from the driver Mr. Pro.

Seriously, It is getting easier to hit how he has instructed, but I am still having too many poor shots. I won the tour but came close to coming in last at the Masters. The secret to winning the tour is become the most improved player and play every single event.

I think you have to be careful with teaching pros. I don't believe in applying the pro's 1 ideal swing to every player. I took 1 lesson a few years back from the pro at Firestone CC. Granted, I wasn't very good at the time, but the lesson started something like this.

                        1) hit a few balls
                        2) change your grip
                        3) change your ball position (wanted EVERYTHING foward in stand...nothing even close to centered)
                        4) change your posture
                        5) change your swing plane
                        6) change your swing plane again
                        7) now pay me for 30 mins of my time and best of luck....you still suck

It literally wreck my bogey ball game and I quit for several months.

Now, I have a guy with a TM and video indoors. I visit him about once a year when i am already hitting it well. He has me work on 1 or 2 things at most....mostly small set-up tweaks. I improve and don't regress.
