I played my two rounds already. I will be golfing with family this weekend. The two rounds were great until I pulled a real tin cup on 18 during the last round. John told me to pick it up after 7 over. I would probably still be there if John didn't intervene. I think that I put 4 or 5 in the water. I started the hole 8 over for the event and ended up 15 over. It was a meltdown plain and simple. After 10 holes on the second round.... I was 4 over for the event. I thought to myself.... good thing I am recording these great two rounds...... I should have stopped after I stopped hitting the greens in reg...... I kept going as my bunker play was ok...... I had a great event until the last 7 holes.

I had you as my ghost ball for both rounds. I'll post my videos after they are done uploading. I'm on vacation also this week. I ended my round asking to the camera what happened to you on 18. I then watched the scorecard go from 9 to 10 to 11. Such a shame considering you were -1 for the round through 9 or 10.

Maybe I have played too much IRL..... I had my 45 yard carry swing and it just wasn't getting there. I really pulled a tin cup there. I knew I was going downhill when I started missing the greens. But my bunker play was ok so I kept going..... next time. I will take a break .....like for a day or two. My short game IRL has really improved. Of course it would go south on the sim. Oh well.... time to practice for the next tournament. I won't be playing until Sunday or Monday due to some outdoor golf getting in the way. I have never been in the 70's IRL and I am hoping this is the week. Good luck to everyone in the tournament. I recorded the rounds but won't be posting due to the meltdown.

Tough to hear, weve definitely all have been there before. Got me thinking though, why isnt there a way to turn off the automatic concede of the hole entirely (unless I missed it), sometimes its much more satisfying to actually get to tin cup it until you finally hit the shot you want. It obviously doesnt really matter to the score but Ive always liked it when I was playing and seeing how long me or someone else im playing with takes to finally get over a random tough water carry. I know i could always just rewind the shot and keep hitting, but theres something very funny when I see myself or someone im playing with have like a 15 the scorecard haha. Anyway, would be nice to be able to turn off the auto concede if we could but obviously not a big deal at all since its already at 11 strokes at that point, but if youre already at 11, whats another 5+ shots haha.
