I am nursing a hockey injury at the moment..... so I played 10 practice holes yesterday and 7 today.... The reason I stopped at 7 is that something very weird happened today at Banff. Being that this was a practice round, I hit autorewind to warmup and started hitting a few 9 irons and then a few drivers. When I turned autorewind off, it showed that I was 215 yards out but still on the tee. It was weird because the hole is 393 yards... Long story short, my next shot I hit a 3 hybrid from 215 and it goes into the hole for what they put on the score card as a hole in one. I saved the replay and as I watch it.....it shows me hitting from the tee with a 221 yard shot......with my 3H. Then it takes me to the next hole. I am going to finish the round just so somebody can play with my ghost ..... watch hole 11. If it gives me a hole in one on my stats..... the next time I get a hole in one....I will rewind. My next practice round, I will play with my ghost and see what happens on 11.

I didn't record the round but I did save a replay. Going to finish the round now....... Update.... this is messed up... TGC gave me an Albatross and a hole in one.

Amazing how much better a 2nd round can be when my stubborn ass doesn't hit 5 in the drink on that 190 par 3 with pond on the right. Hope everybody enjoys all those splashes while you're trying to putt. Haha.

Is there a way to see my scorecards on the golfsimtour site? I swear I've seen my scorecards on there before, but can't figure out where they're at now. Maybe you can't see them on mobile?

Random aside, my brother won a trip to Jasper via a hole in one in a local outting. We were up there in July. Jasper is ~3 hours north of Banff. We didn't have time to play Banff, but wish we would have. The course at Jasper was amazing, however. Everybody needs to experience the drive between Banff and Jasper. Unreal. And don't forget the clubs either.

I live about an hour from Banff. We are quite lucky to have so many great courses in the mountains. Drive a little further into BC and you will find some stellar tracks. Predator ridge is one of my all time favorites. I have never made it up to Jasper yet. In 2013 we had one of Alberta's finest courses destroyed by floods. http://kananaskisgolf.com/ Kananaskis had 36 holes of pure golfing joy. They are rebuilding and look to open back up in 2018. Check out their site..... A round there usually takes about 20-30 minutes longer than normal because most people are in awe of their surroundings.

Those pictures are like a roller coaster. I don't know what's worse - water or fire. Beautiful area, though, andI will definitely be back some day.

Feels so good to not be injured. Finally get to take advantage of my fiberbuilt and being able to hit my 3w. So huge for me as a short hitter off the tee. Best tournament round so far, 71. Going to kill my hdcp. no rewinds. no boost.

wbond played great and we need to pitch in and get bubba a new shirt.

Thank you. It's been starting to come around a little. Sure it will disappear as soon as we get back to the regular tour.

Major let down in round 2. Popped up a couple drives. Irons drifting right. Putter off line. Was terrible.

I may never play again for another hour or two.

Completely understand. I've permanently quit golf dozens of times.

Well I finished up my second round today. Unfortunately when I stopped mid round the other night I accidentally hit concede hole, thought I had rewound my way out of it but sadly not. Started my day off with a 10 or something on the 8th as a result. Cost me 6 strokes, oh well all for fun anyway.

This isnt showing up as an option for me to play again. This happened last week until I commented and then it showed up. I even click on all tournaments which I used yo not have to do and nothing shows up at all on that screen.

Well I am so stinking excited to report I shot my first EVER round of par golf! I've played golf on and off for 20-plus years. This is only my second season back from only playing less than 10 times in a span of about 13 years. I've carried a low handicap of 3-4, but had never shot par golf. Granted this was on a sim with 6ft gimmies, but this was a round that I am VERY proud of and feel even without the gimmies I very well could have shot par tonight. I even had a chance to finish under but I shanked by chip shot on the 18th and two-putted for par from I think 38 ft out. I think the gimmie was under two feet if I remember correctly.

With all that excitement however it did not record on here my round 1 score, which I was also very pleased with. I shot a 74 in round one, but my round two 70 is my only round showing. I was playing by myself and then all of a sudden jwheels popped in live and I finished out my round with him. Can't remember how many holes we played together. Don't know if that had something to do with it or not. But it registered the 74 on the gaming system as when I finished tonight the 70 showed as round two and my finishing total was +4.

I think that is my lowest tournament total ever. So excited :-). Driver wasn't exceptionally cooperative this weekend, but good enough. My chipping and putting were really dialed in.

Got a scramble round and round two of match play tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see who shows up :-).
