That's a great idea for those with tight spaces. Quick question, If one has the unit dead center of the room, what is the hitting area ? How far to the right (for a righty) or left (for a lefty) can one tee it up? This would give folks a sense of how much width is needed for a central mounting for lefty and righties.

The width of the VX hitting area is 21" (55cm). You can tee up anywhere within that width. The length is 25" (65cm).

Thanks Martjin (Damien from Here We Golf).

I can confirme we were very please with the new offset option ! Works like a charm and very usefull. Great update every weeks since the release, keep this good job.

We have a showroom with lots of units (Skytrak, Skytrak+, Mevo+, Apogee, Bravo ...) and the Protee VX is really really good.

We have tested the limit off the hitting area and this is really good. For average speed, you can count on the 55cm wide and 65cm long. For high driver speed, I would recommand to get just few centimeters inside this. But still pretty insane compare to some other units.

I'd say that what impressed us most was the calibration, which is so straightforward. Only one step and no knowledge needed !

Has anyone consider a sliding track/rail mounted to the ceiling to further aid left/right handed play?

Yes, it has been done with other overhead units. I think bgcurtis posted a video showing one that he used.
