ProTee VX Review
I ordered mine online. Shipping to Canada was not crazy and it only took 2 days. That was a shock. It came packaged perfectly and was super simply to install. The hardest part was fishing wires to make sure they are hidden. Lots of drilling but it's worth it.
Once up I set up the software. The amount of data is unreal. The video is cool and a real truth teller. It was easy and connecting to various games is easy and seamless. I've used TGC2019 and GSPro so far.
In my sim I use Costco balls. I tested it with my GC2/HMT at the same time. The numbers were extremely close. They are both infrared so they interfere greatly. To combat that I put a chair over the GC2 and it worked fine.
My kid is a college golfer and hit's in a long way. When he came home for a visit I had him test it out. He got a rare lower spin reading now and then which caused the ball to carry too far. I assume it's from speed. He carries PW 155 with 8-9k spin. 1 in 15-20 shots would read 4-5k but the GC2 would read 8-9k. I remembered when they launched it at the PGA show they used PIX balls so we tried that. With PIX balls he gets the same data as the GC2. He played in two tournaments to verify and the results were in line with the GC2.
The bottom line is this thing is amazing. The hitting area is huge and the data is great. Not needing stickers is a real bonus. Left and right handed works great and nothing on the floor is a bonus. I added an extra screen in the room for data.
