    Any issues with Driver reads

So the driver is consistently reading 200-219 yds carry which on course would be 235-250 yds. Anyone having similar issues? This is on the VX

Did you set altitude in settings->physics? Default is sea level 0ft. Increase altitude to increase distance.

Just curious - are the balls you are hitting cold? I thought I had this issue as well....First I found the altitude adjustment which helped, but still thought I was about 10-15 yards short. I live in the Midwest and my sim is in the garage, so I did a test and soaked balls in hot water and compared to balls I leave out there (it's been around 20F-30F since I installed). The cold weather def has an impact on ball speed, especially driver. I was spot on to what I would expect with the warmer balls.

I've noticed something similar but I'm not ready to blame it on the VX yet. My space is big enough to swing driver but there's no doubt I'm not as comfortable doing it as I am when I'm swinging irons.
But I have noticed even when it feels like a good swing and good contact I see about 220 carry. On the QED at my club I can see more that carry 230-240. It's a much more open space there though and I'm fully confident taking full swings.
Time will tell, especially since I finally get to get out on grass later this week.

In the software I noticed there's an altitude and a temperature setting. Can certainly see the altitude mattering, but haven't played around much with what kind of factor the temp would be.

Increasing altitude will add more distance. Default altitude for the physics model is sea level (0ft).

Actually I had altitude at 1800 ft and I am in my basement that usually runs around 65-70 degrees. I am not blaming VX just asking, I have the original ProTee and that always read well.

I find carry on driver lower than expected. Turn up the heat and altitude in physics. Heat helps a lot. Mine is at 100. I also find the VX carries better when launched higher. My kid carries every driver over 300 so it's not the VX, it's me.

FWIW I have been paying a bit more attention to this and have seen some drives that seem low as well. I sent a couple shots to Protee support and they confirmed the driver calc is an average of 5 yards short on carry distance and they are working on a fix.
