Same thing happened to mine I just received a week ago.
I don't think it is an external packaging issue as the box and interior styrofoam packaging was not damaged.
I wonder if they need some additional packaging inside the unit ( my new PC was packaged that way ) to prevent connections comming loose (though it is unclear if this is the problem with my unit)
Cannot connect to VX. Spend a total of 3 hours with 3 different tech support people, tried everything
I hope this get resolved soon, as I had to remove my old protee (5 year old unit that was still working, hence me buying another protee) to make way for the new one and now I have NO sim to work with and its snowing...
I guess I'll go skiing ...
Will update if and when this gets resolved.

- USB connection
- direct Ethernet port
- different ethernet cable
- update Protee labs
- downgrade Protee labs to a much earlier stable version
- downloaded all missing MS Visual C++ redistributable versions
- reset network connections
- used different computer
- pinged VX IP address (from every connection usb and eth and different PC)
- went through logs ( I wish there have a verbose mode setting for the logs)
