    Hitting Area Clarification

I'm considering purchasing the VX but have a clarification question on the hitting area. I know the hitting area is 25" x 21" (Length x Width). My question is the Length measurement horizontal to the screen, or is that the vertically from the screen?

    Thanks!

The width is horizontal to the screen, so if your standing behind it and looking towards the screen its 21" wide.

Got it, thanks for the clarification. Was hoping it was the other way around. Now I gotta figure out a sliding mechanism as my room isn't wide enough to accommodate both LH and RH with a 21" hitting area. I could just get by with a 28" zone, 30" is preferrable. Open to suggestions if anyone has one! I've looked at some motorized camera sliders, but not sure if they could handle the weight of the VX, especially when mounted upside down.

I was asked to post some pictures of the slide rail for the Uneekor QED So figured this would be the best way to do it. Base unit I did was very simple just to do the testing to make sure it would function as planned and I did not see a need to spend extra cash just for testing purposes. Also because I did not really need the

Thanks wbond. I've read that post and a few others on here, was just hoping someone would have a more current idea. I'd also want it motorized since the VX would be mounted 9-10' in the air.

I also saw SimRail's solution. So like I said, was just polling to see if by chance anyone had a newer solution.

I'll probably just go with SimRail.
