New Garage Setup - A few questions

I recently ordered a ProTee VX set up from Indoor Golf with the Sig12 enclosure, garage dimensions are 10' ceilings, 14' wide and 17' deep. Here are a few questions on my mind:

1. I am placing the sim in my garage with the enclosure in front of the garage door and have one can light that will be behind the projector (just out of picture). Will this provide enough light for the impact zone? Will the projector still provide a good image on the screen with an overhead light?

2. Would you paint the left side wall and ceiling a darker color? I am planning to hang a black curtain on the right side.

3. I would like to install a mirror on the back wall to help with my alignment, any recommendations?

4. lastly, any regrets or things you wish you had done differently?

I think you will be happy with the setup and info you get. Here's my best answers to your questions.

1. I have two 50W EQ LED down lights about two feet behind and 4 feet left and right of my hitting area and I would say it's sufficient light but not by a lot.
I don't see the projector image degraded by the down light. I'm using a 3600 LM projector from 16.5 ft and it is plenty bright.
2. I have light walls and do not see any issues.

4. Not really. I should have measure both sides of the room. Turns out one side is 8' 91/2" and the other is 8' 81/2 ". So the installation height is 8' 71/2 " or about 1/2" to 3/4" less than I had originally planned. But the system seems to work well even with non marked balls or pick balls.
