[Update] ProTee Labs v1.8.14 Released – April 8, 2025

We’re pleased to announce that the official GSPro integration is now supported in ProTee Labs.

To set it up:

1 - Update your GSPro license using the GSPro License Conversion Tool: https://gsprogolf.com/convert.html
2 - In the GSPro Connector, click "Clear Setting"
3 - Restart the connector
4 - In GSPro, go to Settings → Game → System → "Reset GSPro Connect"
5 - Select ProTee United VX as your device

In addition to this update, several fixes have been released.

Open API was banned by the guys that play for money. They only allow direct connect. This will change nothing in your world unless you join these money games.

as i suspected, they were using openapi ban as a means to ban vx (and possibly others) and now that there is an official connector, the ban stays in place while they look for other reasons!

hopefully they will reach out to protee and get this nonsense resolved.

If people weren't losers and cheating at fake golf, maybe they wouldn't have to ban it. There are still people cheating at TGC 5 years later.. It never ends

It looks like the ban has been lifted! Sounds like they will require PIX balls (or something similar) and the ball view to be displayed in the stream. It also sounds like there have been talks about Protee Labs indicating when the ball spin is derived (as opposed to measured), similar to other launch monitors.

When I tried these exact steps, I get this dialog, with the only option to "Change license key", which goes to the GSPro website again. Any ideas?

The latest GSpro connector version is 3.2.19. Your screenshot shows an old version. Try the Force Download option (checkbox) when you start GSPro (very first screen on launch).
