ProTee Height Requirement

Morning All ,

I purchased a Skytrak in hopes for now to stay on the cheaper side of things being Christmas is around the corner . I wasn't happy at with the Skytrak sadly no matter how I leveled it , on the mat off the mat with lights no lights that thing just hated me and hitting 6I up sucked . So in return I'm looking for another launch monitor and I'm looking at the ProTee next .

So my question is , how strict is the height requirement for this unit my ceiling is 8'6" max slopes front to back , I use the Cobra forged one length clubs and a 43" driver so no issue with it at all . I can offset the lights into the ceiling and make them flush . And is the thickness of the mat sensor 2.7 " as well , if so this could be a issue being the mat I use now is only 1.5" .

Yes, the Protee sensor is 2.7 in in depth. My Ceiling it 8'10". My driver swing misses by about 3 to 4 in, but I had a friend over and his driver just missed scraping the ceiling.

Thank you for the reply it does have me a bit worried being it's pretty close now as we speak .
