    BEST GOLF MONITOR FOR RT & LT HANDED GOLFERS FOR HOME USE.

    NEED ADVICE ! ! ! PREPARING FOR A MONITOR & SIMULATION. I will finish my games room ( 22' x 35' x 10' ceiling ) in about 4 months. My buddy and I are RT & LT handed golfers. I don't want a monitor that will have to be moved 90+ times during a match so that each of us can hit. Can anyone recommend a monitor that does not need to be moved (besides Flightscope, $$$$). And has a decent sim ? Many Thx.
    One more thing. My place is off the grid and I have no internet. I also do NOT want to pay yearly fees. I am able to go to an Internet cafe about 5 miles from my home.

      GSA or ProTee are the most affordable lefty righty friendly sims. I have a GSA CX2 system. Both systems require some extensive setup compared to a launch monitor. You can play TGC offline but the course selection will be limited. Also, you would have to hook up your computer to the internet to install the game. My system works awesome for left and right handed players.

              And..... I am jealous of your room size. I have 14.5x30 x 8.8..... luckily I am only 5'10". I just checked and you would have 136 offline courses with TGC. The game plays totally fine offline. You wouldn't have access to tour or tournaments. You would have to take your computer and find some internet when you want to update the software.

                  See if you can get dish network in your area and get satilite Internet. Then get the protee with TGC and it's 2.0 software.. that's the best value for around 6k. And that would include everything you would need.

                      This sounds ignorant but I have been on Pro-tee's website a lot and the setup i'm seeing is a sensor mat similar to optishot 2 + camera configurations and some sort of surveillance i assume? Is this because the entire Pro-tee system is calculation based?

                      Is it a system of the mat reading club path, MOI, Spin and then the cameras calculate weight shift and body positioning or is the camera more for video analysis of your swing?

                          That's actually super cool that the cameras are for that purpose id be interested to see a full set up. I'll look around on the forum for a setup that might be pretty good idea when I finally get my own place to set up an indoor system! Thanks for the clarification.

                              Frank ignorant is thinking that Pro Tee is comparable to opti shot I have pro tee and Skytrak and have used opti shot not even at the same level between the two. do some more research on this forum before you call someone ignorant welcome to the forum.

                                        Funny how people read things different ways. I was thinking he was talking about himself as well and trying to get clarification. Just by looking at the individual units themselves, without any prior knowledge, one could think that opti, protee and p3 are basically all the same thing, when in fact they are not.

                                            Yea I was saying I can't figure it out based on their website so I felt that my comment might come off as an ignorant one..

                                            I'm sure it had a little to do with how I may have worded it. It's cool no harm done haha no sense in taking offense. Haha

                                            but yea I didn't think optishot and pro tee we're comparable but I was wondering if only the mat read data and the camera was for lessons but now it makes sense. Thanks guys
