Used system questions

Hi all, a friend of mine has just bought a used full system inc putting sensor, but having a few issues in getting it setup, so I've a few questions on his behalf:
1: how does he transfer the software licenses across to allow him to receive updates to protee and TGC?
2: when configuring his VCAM, we're constantly getting a fault showing for the launch angle
3: he said that when playing a round, he gets through a few holes, then everything stops working
4: his putting sensor isn't showing as connected

Ive noticed he has McAfee installed, so I've advised him to uninstall that. Also, he's connected directly to the PC COM port... I'm presuming that's ok as the system didn't come with a usb to com port adapter.

Any my help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Aja... I've been doing a lot of reading up on this and I'm going to take him back to square one and start the setup from scratch... he's using this within his business and isn't very tech savvy
