How durable is the turf on the sensor mat?

Can the turf alone be replaced, or the entire unit has to be replaced.

Very durable. We have played hundreds of rounds and it like new. I assume you are talking protee.

yes it is durable and nice to hit off of and the top can be replaced with out buying a new sensor but I really think you will go through three or four screens before even the thought of having to replace the turf its very well made

Not that my turf is even close to being worn out but I was thinking about this the other day if I would have to buy a whole new sensor. Out of curiosity is there somewhere to buy the turf without the sensor?

You can buy just the turf panels. No need to buy a brand new system, unless you want to ;-)

ProTee hitting surface is very durable. They are from Fiberbuilt. You can replace them as mentioned already. Divot action insert is also a replacement option http://customdesigngolf.myshopify.co...or-mat-systems although I think the Fiberbuilt is more durable.
