V Cam Mounting Suggestions

I have a wood floor with carpet I put down to cover the floor. What is the best way to mount the vcam to prevent it from moving if hit by a bouncing ball, bumped, etc? I'm sure there is info on the site, but couldn't find anything when I searched. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The camera's protective housing gets screwed to the floor. Don't know of any other way of mounting it securely.

do you have a laminate floor or real hardwood for securing.

It's a real wood floor. Ideally I'd like to avoid screwing into the wood floor, but it sounds like that may be the only option.

I have mine screwed on a 10 x10 inch 3/4 plywood. I glued a rubber mouse pad underneath. It won't move unless picked up.

keither is exactly what I was going to tell you, if you need more, use a micro pin nailer the holes will be the size of a tack on the wall

I really don't want to (can't) permantly attach the vam permanently. I was thinking about attaching to plywood ( the mouse pad is good idea). Then paint spot on floor to make sure it is in the right place. Same for mat. See any issues?

Maybe Velcro? -- if you aren't using the entire housing (which might be to heavy)

It sounds good to me , I have the same type thing as mention above. Very rare, but it will get bumped sometimes. What I did just in case is pencil the corners, opposite corners, About an inch lines. I always check v cam and h cam alignment before every session for peace of mind. H cam never changes of course but v cam will get bumped every now and then and takes me 30 seconds to re adjust, no bid deal.

plywood - 10cm x 10cm & double sided 3M tape. will not move. wont damage floor when removing. (if its for a semi permanent setup)
