Will moving the sliders display a lower club speed, or just change the physics of the ball distance etc.?

there are sliders for ball speed and for club speed which are measured independently. if you adjust the ball speed sliders it will display lower ball speed and therefore carry. for ball adjustments, there are speed sliders as well as drag sliders so you can adjust carry after you get the speed right.

if you change club speed, it will not affect ball physics. i would only change club speed if you feel that your smash factors are way off.

I using the standard protee lighting. I've tried all the pt settings. I used pt1 to get everything aligned. Switched to pt5 just to try it. Pt1 and pt5 seem to produce the same launch angles. I will try again tonight. I will take some pictures, maybe someone can noticed something in the setup. It's really not to far off, but with lower launch and higher ball speed I'm hitting a 4 iron about 245 ish. I understand you can adjust the physics. I really want to see the proper numbers displayed on the shot data screen. Appreciate all the feedback!

Looked at my screen. Yours is chopping off the bottom. I will send pics later. First of all though, use PT1 and make sure ball is in red square.

Yours has bottom exclusion of -5, set that to 0. I have right exclusion on mine is 50, left -45. Do not mess with ball speed sliders. Again, against the whole point. Mine is accurate at default. Biggest mistake is messing with a bunch of stuff, I know there is a lot of info on here but try not to try compensating to make the system right. It's just not needed. I will send pics later to show what I am talking about on bottom. Swing arch and ball are too low. Doesnt matter that you area lefty. Hang in there, it's a great system and you will be amazed at the accuracy when it's dialed in.

Pics aren't downloading right for me right now so can't show my pics . It's really hard to tell from these pics. I know you leveled it in other settings but cannot really tell in pt5 pics. My thoughts just from looking are camera too close. Can't tell though without square. Yes, ball streak looks great like everybody says but that's not everything. I think you need more left side, more bottom, and maybe further away. Ball should start from left corner, not 1/8 way in like yours. Your driver does appear to come all the way from left but look closely . The line actually starts from top and ends at bottom of streak. Doesn't take much for a few degrees.

Thanks Bnorman! I'm gonna take some pics right now to give u better idea of setup. Didn't realize I had bottom exclusion on, good catch. I will measure camera, but I think its about 7ft to right of ball.

Here are some pics of my setup. Vcam is 7ft from the ball. I can get the sensor board to work at the moment to try the exclusion. Says there is no power, no data stream. Green lights are both on. Getting frusturated.

no data stream with the lights on is a usb connection issue. restart the interface and replug the sensor

All that looks good except really hard to tell as far as level. Red square and ball look good. I can't really make out the hitting mat edge. The light seems to be drowning it out which it will to a point but I can still make mine out good. There are a few choices to make sure the mat lines up with the bottom line because that of course is vital. Lower your gain to the point where there is not so much glare. You can always set it back later. Or turn on regular room lights and sensor lights off or Block them somehow. Did you get it working again as far as hitting balls? I see a 17 degree driver? It can be frustrating but when you get it dialed in there will be no more work, just enjoyment.

Thundergolf I have a lot of experience with this system. Did you follow the setup procedures here?

http://csc.protee-united.com/hc/en-u...h-Camera-Setup ...... Measure the distances from screen to sensor and to centerline of camera. (4 inches difference.) Others have placed the camera perpendicular to the ball, I cannot tell what yours is.

To check the angle that you are getting use this calculator. geometry comes in handy. http://www.mathportal.org/calculator...calculator.php

I just have one of my kids watch for impact and touch the screen. measure the height and input the numbers to calculate the angle. Compare to protee.

You asked if the height of the camera makes a difference. yes it does. Put it at the height of the hitting mat. yours is about 2 inches lower.

I used pt1 to get started it has the red square. pt5 does not have the square, it reads the line angle without respect to the starting point. Sometimes the camera gets bumped and I like the square to see ball position.

Inorkuo's way to level the camera is good.

When using PT1 you do not need to worry about bottom exclusion unless you get misreads. Just make sure you get the red square in the picture accurately.

This is not a good picture but I am going to go ahead and attach it. Mainly notice top left and how clear the surface is. No light reflecting off of it. Line is perfectly lined up. Inourko's way may be good but with all that light, it is almost impossible to tell. Agree with Boerdoc on most of that, especially height of camera but no reason for bottom exclusion so why have it. I didnt really go to the trouble of angle on the screen but If you do that, you would have to subtract height of platform in relation to bottom. If the line is exactly lined up like mine is, the launch angles are very accurate. So, Boerdoc, if it doesnt match the screen and distance angle calculation, do you tilt it do that it is not level with the mat?

looking@ your picture im almost thinking my camera needs lowered. Could u possibly measure from center of lens to to of hitting mat? Thanks for all the help

Sure, I will measure but yours looks plenty low like Boerdoc says. Hard to tell. Looks like it might be blocked a little to the screen side by the cabinet but looks like you are getting plenty of screen side view on the preview screen so must not be an issue.

I made a few adjustments last night was getting 10-11* with the driver. Bnorman I think the 17* was actually a 7 iron read, just forgot to reset for the driver picture. I think I may need to raise the camera mount so that camera is sitting@ same level as it would of it were sitting on the mat. This system has awesome potential, my ball flights are pretty spot on, just a little low. When I get stable looking forward to playing online.

OK, the middle of my lens in 8" off the floor, mat is 4 inches high. I am 7 1/2 feet from sensor middle, 2 feet forward, camera tilted sightly up and to the screen side. So, the lens is actually 4 inches higher than the mat PLUS tilted up.

Your right in the picture it looks low. My lens measures 8 3/8 top of mat is 3 1/2. So my lens is actually 4 7/8 above the mat. Sounds like it might be a little higher than yours.

Yeah, sounds like its close enough. My suggestion would be turn the gain down, as you can see, mines not that bright. At least to check the levelness.
