  • Best way to adjust lob wedge distance?

One of my shots is a real short lob wedge from about 20ish yards out. I can pull this shot off pretty consistently.

On the sim it's going about 30 yards. I couldn't ever dial it in when I played with bubs the other day. Even if I purposely put more loft in it. The loft was reading great very happy with that part of it.

Right now that's the only thing I really need to dial in. Probably need to work chipping a little bit, but like from 50 yards out my half pitching wedge was dead on, but then @ 20 yards my 1/4 lob wedge was going 30 yards. Doesn't add up.

Not sure how to adjust it so that a full lob still goes the distance but my short shot gets up and down like normal.

Hmmm.....maybe I should wait til after our match tonight to tell you???

Just kidding. Did you use my chipping ball speed factor of 65? If so, try lowering it to 55. The chipping settings in the interface is there to control flop shot distances. It probably should have been called flopshot......

Yeah i set up the settings exactly the way you set it. I'll try playin with that number. Height seems to be right, just a little too much speed on it at closer distances.

        Update:

PingB's LW distance problem was resolved. After checking his LA cam and making sure all shots were detected, I had him hit normal 20 yard chips and flop shots. I then set the chipping minimum LA to a couple of degrees below his 20 yard flop shot LA. That was it. He's now a single digit hdcp again.

Are you referring to VCam misreads? Those are usually due to the ball streak being too faint for those shots, resulting in the club head getting picked up.

yes, that is the problem most likely. Hopefully this will be corrected soon. If you know what I mean.
