I've not been able to find the golf19.exe folder either. Nothing on my pc except golf stuff. I'm sure another hour of searching and I'll find it.

I wonder if this might help. You may need to change the Windows Explorer View settings:

      1. open Windows Explorer (Windows key+E).
      2. with nothing selected click on the File tab and then click on the "change folder and search options"
      3. click on the View tab
      4. make sure the following check-boxes are as follows:
Hidden files and folder -> show hidden files, folders, and drives = Checked
Hide extensions for known file types = Unchecked
Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) = Unchecked (this will prompt you for confirmation)
      5. Click the Apply button, then OK button to close the dialog.

That will ensure you can see all the files in the directories with their extension.

You can also let Windows Explorer do the search for you. In Windows Explorer, chick on your C: drive on the left pane, then on the right side, upper half, on the box that says "Search Windows (C: ) you can type the text to search for. For example, you can search for "golf19.exe", or "golf19", or even just "golf", and it will show you all the files it finds that have the searched text as part of the name. When you get the results, you can right-click on a line and choose "Open file location" to open the containing folder.

      Hope it helps.

s0707 Thanks, that's what I ended up doing. Reshade up and running. Looks great. Thanks for the help.

I've found that re-shade looks good on some courses but not all. I set up a shortcut key to turn it on and off and after a couple holes I sorta decide if I want to continue the rest of the round with it on or off. Some courses seem to just get real high contrast with it on and sort of a "too fake" look. Other courses it's outstanding.

FYI: I came across this page on the Reshade website and found it informative so thought I would share:

Can anyone point me in the right direction for installing Reshade on a machine running FSX2020? I'd love to add this but have no clue where to begin.

I can’t seem to get past the download screen. I tried to pay with a card and PayPal but I get a message in red letters talking about needing a state. I put the zip code in so that should be good enough. There is never a spot to enter what state I’m from.

is it really $10 a month?

Can I install Reshade on both TGC2019 and FSX2020 at the same time? Because I play both of them and now only TGC2019 installed Reshade and is fantastic. FSX2020's graphic is not comparable to TGC and I think Reshade may help.

Seems to me reshade is not really "installed"...Otherwise the uninstall would not be just deleting files. That said you should be able to apply it to any application that you wish. It seems to make customized DLLs per application (or something along those lines).

So I would just go through the "install" process again and select the other application that you would like to use it against. The "ini" files are usually info files for the app, so you may have to reconfigure it for the new application since there is a new "ini' file.
