    Installation questions

    I bought the ProTee 2.0 Pack from SwingSense (ProTee and TGC). I have a few questions about installation. What in the world is the Pro Tee Portal? I downloaded the ProTee Interface 3.06c but I don't see anything about a Portal. My license key for the interface came with a ProTee Portal activation code, but I have no idea where that goes. The instructions also say to enter my portal user ID in the Activation Code field of the TGC license key request form but I don't know what it is. What am I missing?

    Also, the TGC license request asks what hardware I will be using for the simulator but GC2 is not an option. Does it matter what I put here?

    Lastly, the TGC license request form asks you to upload proof of purchase, but doesn't actually let me upload. There is just a grey box with no ability to attach a file.

      Looks like I will have to email ProTee. From everything I've read, when I run the installer, I should get a desktop icon for the ProTee Golf Interface and one for the ProTee Portal. I only have one for the interface.

        When you install, there's a list of items you can install, make sure you go through it and see if everything is checked. Then try again. One of the items is a manual. It'll install on your desktop. If it's still the same step by step,instructions with pics are on the forum.

        You are using a GC2. You need to check of off GSX. GSX interfaces with GC2.

        Did you look at the step by step instructions in the link?

            I've checked and double checked but there was no list of items to install. The install screen that I get when i run the installer is in the attached photo. I have followed the instructions line by line. DOes the installer that installs the ProTee Interface also install the Portal? Or is there another installer that I am missing?

            I haven't even worried about GSX yet. I want to get Pro Tee software installed properly first.

              Hi Bentley,
              If the auto run does not install the pro tee portal- then open(browse) the install disc- you will see the portal setup file on the disc there.
              after installation you should have two icons pro tee interface and pro tee portal- I suggest getting the interface though from the link to the latest interface found on these forums.
              don't forget to run everything using admin -- right click run as administrator- for some reason these newer Os's require it..

                I don't have a disc. Pro-Tee sent me a link to download the interface.

                  Problem solved with help of ProTee Support. I didn't receive the email with the download link to the portal. They resent it and I am good to go!
