Skytrak company is a big fraud buyer beware. They claim to have a money back garuntee however I tried to return my skytrak well within the 30 days and was told because I bought a certified refurbished model the 30 day money back garuntee was not an option. wish there website would say that I would have gladly spent the extra $200 and bought a brand new one so I had the return policy. Shady shady business practice.

interesting. Is there something you do not like about it - perhaps the folks on here can help you wish to keep it. You could sell the unit here but of course you will lose a few hundred I suppose.

Did you pay by credit card?
If so, this is what you do:
Call your credit card company and tell them of the issue stressing that the company is not honoring their stated return policy.
Your credit card company will initiate a 'charge back' (take the funds back from the company) and you will then be in the position of power.
The credit card companies almost always side with the consumer on issues like this.

I did the financing through there credit lender. I called this morning to skytrak and voiced my complaints and she said I was not honoring my side by telling her Monday I would send it back and possibly purchase a brand new one however I told her that they were not honoring their side by allowing me to return it well with in the 30 day return policy. After talking to a few friends who are lawyers I have every right to return it since their policies never state a refurb unit is non refundable. She told me this morning I am still required to pay the upgrade memberships which I will possibly dispute since they didn't own there service and send me a defective demo unit. I have not heard anything back yet from them . Will keep you postedComment

No they took it back however they would not offer me my money back. They were not going to honor their money back garuntee they were going to just send me another one which I didn't wantComment

you're throwing around some strong words there. It says right in the link when you go to purchase a refurbished model that it comes with a 90 day limited warranty. no mention of a 30 day no questions asked guarantee. It's not exactly called out and in your face, but it's there. I purchased my unit refurbished and understood that I was taking that risk....Comment
