    Connection problems with TGC

Does anyone else have problems getting the TGC interface to connect properly? I start the interface with the Skytrak connected via usb then click connect - the box will go to red/green/green and the interface will say connected but no laser light. Sometimes I will get 3 green lights and the laser for a split second then it goes off again. It works eventually but last night it took around 30 attempts (pulling cable / retry connect or killing interface in task manager and reopening, etc). I do not have this problem with the Skytrak app.

    Any ideas?

Sorry to say mine is flawless. However, I had small issues such as skytrak losing access to the Wi-Fi network during game play - this use to happen 4 to 6 times a round. Now, never occurs. Difference - hard wired the PC that runs TGC to the router, and got new router. I have a few Idevices as well and they use to disconnect from the Wi-Fi, maybe once a week. the new router stopped that as well. The new router is a beast.

I've had some connection issues in the past using USB, sometimes the only way for me to connect was to reboot or change USB ports and even that wasn't reliable. I changed my router and connect via wifi now - connects flawlessly every time, no dropped connections and rarely get a missed shot.

Maybe I need to ditch usb. Is there a tutorial on playing TGC over wi-fi? The interface only mentions connect via usb.

Neiellio, the interface on TGC says connect via USB but you can connect via wifi using the same button on the interface. It should be worded differently to just say something simple like "connect to Skytrak". I would agree with others here, wifi is the way to go. I plug the USB into wall charger only. I connect my ST to eero wireless network and it works great. Before this connected to USB was slow and had misreads.

For me, I set up my SkyTrak app to connect via network mode first. TGC (although at the SkyTrak interface screen says to connect your USB cable) connected via WIFI automatically. I do not remember doing anything in TGC to connect via WIFI. Just remember to close your SkyTrak app before launching the TGC/SkyTrak interface.
