I have been using my SkyTrak in my indoor hitting bay for several months and it was great. Distances were realistic, even with chipping. Roll out distance on the SkyTrak was not very accurate but carry was very good. In the last week or so, something has changed. The distances for all clubs is dropping. I carry my 8 iron 145 and I'm lucky to get 130 now. The SkyTrak sits in a metal jacket and I've made no adjustments. Any suggestions? Hit the weights? 😏

I had something similar happen, was driving me crazy. Even balls that felt like I struck them well weren't carrying as far as they should. It was driving me crazy and not a lot of fun. I went for a lesson and basically my swing had gotten lazy. A tip on posture and club path and distances were back up where they should be. It took about a month to lose ~8%, 45 minutes in the lesson and I think I'm up ~10.

Are your balls worn out? I've seen fresh balls (Chrome Soft) add an immediate 1/2 to 1 club distance.- Ron at GunghoGolf.com - we specialize in TrackMan, FlightScope, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, Garmin, Bushnell, TGC, and E6 Connect. 512-861-4151 or email hello AT gunghogolf.com.

Good idea but I have new balls in play. I just replaced the ProV1x sleeve I was hitting about a couple weeks ago and didn't even see a difference. I also rotate in Bridgestones and Chrome Softs to see if I can see any difference in spin and distance. With the distance losses on all my clubs, it is hard to see any statistical differences.

Did you try taking it out of the metal jacket to verify that the metal jacket isn't causing the problem? Even if you had good distances with the jacket on, maybe it shifted or something??? I'd take it out and see how it does. There has to be a reason your distances are off: metal jacket causing interference, swing speed off, catching it a little heavy on the mat (has def happened to me), etc.Originally posted by DWargo View PostI have been using my SkyTrak in my indoor hitting bay for several months and it was great.
