SkyTrak_Seth any chance thebrange ever gets a graphical overhaul to look like a real life golf hole kind of like E6 range. Nice grass textures and such?

That would be nice, but for some reason, I also miss sound like when you are hitting balls on a TGC range. The swoosh of the club, hearing the ball hit the club face, and the sound of the ball landing. I know, it's trivial, but going from hitting balls on a TGC range to the SkyTrak, it just seems like something is missing. -
interesting, I prefer the way the range looks compared to the e6. Too hard for me to see the ball and flight, have to walk over to the TV to see it.Comment

I'd love that too, but the problem is that we are really crunched for size because we want to remain on mobile. Have you seen the file sizes for our sim partners?
I'd still be open to improving it if we can find a way to do so without significantly increasing the size.

I'd rather have the ability to customize the metrics being displayed on range then better graphics. I want to choose what #s to see depending on what I'm working on for the session. Graphics are nice but isn't the range geared on swing work?Comment

Agreed, if you're on the range, I'm guessing you'd be more interested in the shot shape and numbers rather than how good the grass looks. That's what TGC is for. Let us pick what we want to show.Comment

I'd be happy if all they changed was making the size of the flagstick and cup realistic. Currently the flag looks to be about 25-30 feet tall, according to the distance from the pin readings when you hit one close. What looks like a 3 footer ends up being a 3-yarder, and a huge green like the 50x50 yard practice green looks fairly normal sized in relation to the pin.
I'd also be thrilled to be able to set a practice green closer than 30 yards - why that arbitrary limit? A 5 yard limit would be great. Practicing chips and pitches is one of my favorite pasttimes, testing different balls and wedges and swings and such, and it's a pain to have to go into skills measurement mode to get close pins.
I'd also put a vote into having some sort of audio on the stroke and ball landing, ala TGC.
I'll stop with a request I haven't seen before - make at least one practice target a Fairway with configurable width, so we can practice driving and get a % fairway hit number without using a huge green and getting crazy rollouts when a drive lands on the green.
