  • Problem connecting SkyTrak and E6 Trugolf

    I am hoping someone can help me as I seem to be getting nowhere with either SkyTrak or E6.

    I recently purchased a SkyTrak with the game improvement package and an E6 subscription, however whenever I try and log into E6 I get a message saying the SkyTrak is not authorised and E6 will exit.

    I have emailed E6 and phoned the UK support for SkyTrak, who said they would escalate it to the US but have heard nothing.

    The Trugolf subsrciption is showing on my Skytrak membership page, any ideas what I am missing??

    You're missing TGC - just kidding.

    Try to run the SkyTrak PC app. This app will force the license sync and should update your unit with your GIP and E6 license details.
    If after the sync the challenges in the SkyTrak PC app are active, then you know your GIP is working.

      Next close the SkyTrak PC app and try E6 again...

    I'm in the same boat with e6. My "challenges" are active in the SkyTrak app, just checked again. I "renewed an expired subscription" on SkyGolf for e6 yesterday. I still get "license expired." (expired in June.) I have sent a support request to e6.

      My problem solved...I was supposed to get an email from SkyGolf with the licensing info to give to TruGolf...it took several days to get SkyGolf to send me that email. Once I got it and handed to TruGolf, they authorized. You might have expected that SkyGolf would send an email direct to TruGolf...here is the new license info to match what we downloaded into the SkyTrak machine.???

        I realize this is an old post, but is this still accurate information? I am currently getting "Device not authorized. Please contact SkyTrak support." But my GIP is active and my E6 license is active. Both sides say everything looks good and it should work, please check with the other side. Is there some sort of licensing info email I am supposed to get from GolfTec to send to TruGolf?
