A driver is about 4 feet long, arms could well extend about 2-3 feet back from ball position

That's about right, the space gets small really quick with a driver in your hands. If I would have had the room 16x16 would be the way to go so you could be completely centered and have a some extra space behind you.

I went the largest I could for my space at 13x15 and it works well for me and is comfortable swinging any club.

I have no doubt 12 wide could work but 12 length I don't think is going to give you the room.

Your interior dimensions is going to be more like 11' 2". after walls plus another 10" for screen so really you have 10' and a few inches to work with. Measure off from a wall in a room 5/6 feet and test your driver.

Saw you built a 13x15. What was the height?

Sorry older post, but really looking at this design. So here goes. Trying to understand your10ft ceiling height. Is the roof peak 10ft or the actual sidewalls 10ft, there by giving you what maybe 13ft at the peak?

                Great build!

This is an interesting coincidence. About a month ago my wife says to me, do you know what you need, you need a golf shed in the backyard. We looked at some sheds at Lowes and I think we agreed 12' x 16' would be a good size.

What was the height inside the Lowes 12x16 shed? 10ft high corner to corner, or just the middle?

Pretty sweet to have a dedicated sim building right next to the pool! That is a great looking build! (of course now all the code inspectors can see that your door header is missing jack studs )
