    Skytrak & TGC Putting speed

    Hi Guys, in the process of doing a build at the moment which should be up and running this weekend, had a bit of practice with my club pro the other day, and found the putting speed was very odd,

    20' to the flag, 2" down, should play 18', found we had to hit the equivalent of a 10' putt to be on the money,

    not sure if this is a setting i have missed, its basically a fresh install, nothing has been adjusted from stock.

    All other distances seemed correct (driver, irons etc)

    Any help would be appreciated.

      I've only had my TGC hooked up and playing for about a week at best....and putting seemed to be Greased Lightening fast. For the first three rounds I couldn't get the ball with in 10 ft of the hole for love nor money. Wondered if it was just me or because i am putting from a CCE mat, but after I got used to it over 6 or 7 rounds I kinda like it fast. I hate slow greens in real life too. But i believe there is a Stimp setting on one of the icons for you to change the greens speeds.

          There is a patch that you can download that allows you to set the speed of the greens for putting. You can also adjust the firmness of the greens to some extent, but the original firmness set by the designer, is what is prevalent. Just do a search for the putting patch. Good Luck!
