First of all let me say Great shot...I would also like to add that im mighty jealous though. I wonder do i need to have a "calibration of some sort" for my unit. I have gotten seen similar numbers to whats on your screenshot and havent gotten anywhere close to 300 yards. (even after roll) most was probably 250 to 260. My longest drive ever on a sim was 270 (golf galaxy) and longest in real life outside was 300 (293 but who's counting haha, oh and thanks TP5X only playing those going forward :-) ) and wasnt tons of roll on both shots. I say all that to say this im looking right now on my login for skygolf for comparative figures currently but I want to see these numbers on my Skytrak at home, anybody got any tips of something i should do? Also i said all that actually wanting to ask as well did you have your altitude real high? i live in an altitude of 901 ft (according to google) so i have that on my sim.

Below is direct copy and pastes from skygolf of the stats they track anywhere from 140mph ball speed to the comparative figure. I know its all calculations so i tried to find comparative launches ball speeds and spin deviations as well just to get some kind of basis on why i feel like my skytrak simulator may just be completely off but somebody tell me if what im seeing/getting at home compared to this photo and what i feel like i can hit in real life are accurate or just completely wrong (sorry i dont know all the numbers and how it all correlates)

***EDIT just went back and re-read and noticed that the columns didnt post when i hit post...so to update that.

Shot Number, Ball Speed, Club Speed (i know its a guess based on calc's), Launch Angle, Back Spin, Side Spin, Carry, Total yards, and Deviation (yards)
    54 140 100 15.2 4949 712 214 220 1
    32 142 96 12.4 2056 1201 216 237 22
    35 152 103 10.4 2667 -620 242 260 -64
    14 154 106 11.5 2884 -1123 244 262 -87
    23 148 100 10 1906 680 219 242 -18
    5 144 97 12.2 2003 -1288 211 234 -91
    4 142 98 10.9 3332 -95 226 248 -16
    28 144 100 10.6 3803 218 226 243 -18
    62 144 99 13.9 3568 153 233 252 -31
As you see im everywhere as im not great at golf right now haha, but if somebody can just give me better idea of these numbers according to whats being seen in the pic to let me know if my unit needs some "adjusting" that would be greatly appreciative. I just dont feel like my numbers are showing up for my driver according to what ive seen on the course in real life and this photo seems to validate some of my thoughts unless i completely misjudge how much each number affects a shot i know his shot was dead straight mine are offline by miles haha but even some of my close ones that might not reach ball speed i feel should be almost 80 yards off either. but maybe thats what 10 mph of ball speed does is give 80 yards? even my 152 and 154 ball speed numbers those are 20+ off carry and almost 30-40 yards off total albeit shots going left and deviating far away from center target am i really losing 40 yards with a shot going to left or is my ball speed not calculating properly?? Is it altitude? Any help would be greatly appreciative. Even help that helps me not hit the ball left so far hahaha!

dagratest816, Your best two shots in terms of ball speed should get further carry distances, but it looks like your spin was about 2700-2900/ launch angle was lowish/ and the last numbers (I believe) say that you were way left? Were you hitting big hooks? If so, it would appear to me that the shot was a low hook which would seemingly be short and left. I'm definitely not the best interpreter, so maybe someone else will chime in.

teamacacia Thanks for the reply. They werent hooks as much as they were just shot straight left (working on that currently all my good shots...distance and contact wise go left for some reason) so it wasnt like they started on the target line then just went crazy left, they shot left started left and kept going left. I thought my launch and spin was on par though. I know we have all seen this photo from trackman with averages, https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...cdCuYQ9QEILDAA but of course my ball speed isnt where they are at but i just figured some distance was lost but maybe it was just down to my shots going left instead of straight for one as much as it was the distances not calculating properly. Still working on my swing so more testign to come i guess and see if the numbers change any. I also got the tees from the golf channel as well instead of the rubber tees that slide through my mat to see if that will help any. Thanks for the information though.

SkyTrak and i are just getting to know each other....altitude? I better take the time to read and explore a little
more? Where is that at? I just turned it on made sure it was level and choose driver in practice. Going deep into the settings shortly!

When i got mine back in november i had similar numbers only to find out my altitude was on par with colorado. Set it to where i am and reality set in. Lol i love my unit and have a high quality mat as well. I use the tee claw for my mats. I love them as I am able to use the tees i normally use and i can use the lanyard for alignment as well.

Yeah check out those settings, you can change the way you see the ball flight, which mode you want to view the range, change wind directions temperature altitude and a number of other settings.

My Sky Trak arrives Wednesday. I don't have the ability to leave it setup 24/7 so i will have to setup and breakdown each time I use it.
          1. Will I need to recalibrate each time?
          2. How long will it take?
          3. Can I tape off or mark off where I set it up each time and it'll be good like that?

Itโ€™s very easy. I move mine daily. Iโ€™ve marked off my area and just turn it on, ensure itโ€™s level, and play. Ready in seconds.

If it is reasonably internally aligned parallel to the case, you can just eyeball. Does not need to be as exact as it is made out to be. Errors will be degree for degree. But not a bad idea to mark the spot.

Also if you have the protective case thereโ€™s a ridge on the front that easily stabilizes the end of a retractable tape measure. Easy to just slide it along front to back to make sure the distances are the same to the edge of your mat and therefore aligned.

I use the Birteeโ€™s with my Skytrak. Ive heard of people having issues with the different coloured tees. Havent had any issues. Maybe the odd misread but all good.

The first responder covered just about all the tips I can think of as well.

            Enjoy it! I know I do !

I had problems with white Birtees and no-reads. Black Birtees no issues whatsoever.
          Working...
