This is something new that I am noticing. I am setting the target green on the range. Then I am hitting the shot. Quite often the ball is not hitting the green (fringe or worse) but the skytrak is registering it as a hit green. I am in year two and quite sure it has registered correctly in the past. Any thoughts?

This has happened to me often and has also been discussed in other threads. It seems to happen when you hit a ball that is near to the green but clearly not on it. I have not seen an explanation for this or a fix. Presumably it's a software issue. -

Conversely, mine will register a miss while the ball clearly shows as being on the green. Messing with my skills assessment stats.Comment

Strangely I have never had this. I find that misses can sometimes be scored as hits, but so far I've never had a hit scored as a miss.Comment

I've had a call with support and sent them pictures of the screen and of my setup. They are looking at it and will get back with me. First time I've ever dealt with them. Hope it goes well.Comment

I've been in communication with Seth about it and it's a known problem. He said it should be addressed in the next update coming out around the PGA show time.

I am looking forward to the fix. Trying to keep things fun for my kids, and we play a game of three strikes (green misses) and you are out survival game. Getting within 3 yards of the pin earns you another life. We always get into arguments as the kids can be competitive and will argue for whatever benefits them when there is a discrepancy. I decided that the visual is correct.Comment
