  • sun hood for ST

I was wondering if anyone has created an effective sun hood for protecting the ST from the Sun's rays. As most of you know, the main reason why ST doesn't always work well outside is due to the negative effect that bright light has on the ST. Thats not really a problem at this time years, but will be in a couple months.Has anyone tried building some kind of barrier to give the ST a better chance ofreading your strikes properly?

      Igor, that's genius!

They should just build that flap into the FMJ.

      No more outdoor problems, amazing.

Would your umbrella not do the trick?

As long as there's no wind.

If the sun is behind you (sun directly at ST) that would be impossible. That’s the issue at my course. Umbrella would have to be in the next stall over.

You put the box on top of the ST so that it overhangs the sensor side. I have done it when needed the few times I have had it outside. Not pretty, but it works
