I pulled the trigger on a CPO this afternoon and wanted to share for anyone else looking for a good deal, or at least I hope it is. It was $1750 for the SkyTrak, metal case and GIP. I've read here others have had good luck with the CPO's they purchased so figured this might be the best way to dip my toe in. I'm still working on my SIM build but after this arrives I'm down to the projector and the finishing touches ie curtains/net and maybe turf for the landing area.

Is this a better deal than the one they usually have around the Master's? Is $300 off Certified Pre-Owned about as good as you're going to get?
I've been waiting to order one for their "Best" deal on a certified pre-owned, as I have plenty of time before I need it.

Thanks for the quick reply!Originally posted by Morini View PostWhen I ordered, it was $1500 with plastic case. I believe metal case was $130 more, so $1630, give or take $20. That was the best deal i had seen to date. No guarantees it will return.
So adding the $99/plan would have brought it to $1730 (if you opt to it)?
I'm so torn on this. The $1,749 isn't an issue as I have been budgeting for it -- it's the extra $800-1,000 for JNPG or TGC!!!

Given where we are in the season, why not budget for those in October?Originally posted by Cowabunga View Post

Update from my order, I received the SkyTrak Friday, still waiting on the protective case to be shipped, web site said the 12th so we'll see if it ships tomorrow. As far as the unit itself, there are a couple scuffs but nothing major for a few hundred dollar savings. I had purchased TGC a couple weeks ago on sale so sent that info in on Friday night and had my license Saturday morning. I was able to get it up and running shortly after and have played a couple short iron par 3's, don't want to take any big swings until it's protected. But what little I've messed with it, it seems my shots are all pulling left, though I haven't leveled or adjusted it, so not sure if it's me, the unit or alignment, will work on that more once the case comes in.2 Photos

Lot's of posts and threads of shots going left. You have to fiddle with your setup a little bit, once you get it, works great. I've had mine for about 15 months and I'm really enjoying it. It's the great white north here so it's either this or snowballs.........

Thank you Jack, I put a laser on it today and found my mat was not square with the screen. I followed the other threads advice as well and see what you mean. Once it was corrected my results were much better. Still a lot to learn and setup but I appreciate everyone’s willingness to help out.

define better haha. price wise no. will you get peace of mind and a warranty and a brand new unit. those things i can assure you are a yes. It just depends on what those things are priced for you. I got my skytrak and FMJ and the game improvement package last yr for fathers day sale and saved the 300 dollars on the unit so it just depends on your level of confidence and what that price is for you, in my opinion.

I see you're in the same predicament as me!Originally posted by stodds12👆🏻 What he said. I know Masters/ Father’s Day have sales on new units, but will the reconditioned be further discounted to match? Anybody remember?

I was a couple weeks to late on the CPO I checked and they were out.I feel you on the scuffs at least yours was pre-owned I bought mine from Rock Bottom Golf as a brand new unit and it came direct from Skytrak with scuffs on it and it was packaged with plastic and bubble wrap.Originally posted by SlipperyPete View PostUpdate from my order, I received the SkyTrak Friday, still waiting on the protective case to be shipped, web site said the 12th so we'll see if it ships tomorrow. p.s. I ordered it from RBG to get around the Skytrak shipping rules I couldn't have it delivered to my house. I work 30 miles from home and really didn't want to burn a personal day just to sign for my Skytrak.1 PhotoLast edited by silverado101980; 03-13-2018, 09:21 PM.

I think I’d be a little upset if I purchased a brand new unit and that’s the way it came. The scuffs are one thing but the lens cover all bubbles up like that looks bad. I got my metal case today which appears to be brand new, so overall I’m very satisfied with this deal.

yeah I wasn't really thrilled I have half a notion to call in the serial number and make sure it wasn't a refurbished one that fell through the cracks
