Version 3.0.2 issues

Downloaded 3.0.2 and used for a few days. Overall good improvements over the version I used last summer. A couple of issues though:

- Every time I close/finish the session, my account is logged out. I have to enter my user ID and password (a long 10 digit-letter combination) to login again. Very inconvenient. Why cannot you let me stay logged in?

- I use iPad and connect to a TV. If I open SkyTrak while the iPad is connected to the TV, SkyTrak just crashes. I have to open SkyTrak and then connect to the TV.

1) I've never heard of that one - after you are logged out, can you go to Profile > ABOUT > send logs > send current log. Make sure to put in the subject or body that you are logged out after each session. (I assume you mean exiting practice? If you mean closing app and re-opening, then are you sure you have 'remember me' checked when you logged in?)

2) That's an Apple bug. They are working to fix. Your workaround is correct, just open app and then plug in the HDMI cable.

Thanks Seth. The first problem just self-cured after I reinstalled the app. I think the difference this time was l logged in while my iPad was connected to internet (therefore your server). Previously I had iPad directly connected to SkyTrak while I logged in. The issue seems to be I need to login in while connected to the server at least once before I can use direct mode. I am not sure if it makes sense.

Yes, absolutely! The first time you log in, it must be connected to the internet (hence those instructions on the login page ) so we can validate your account. . After that, we store it in the app. Glad to hear you got it resolved!

Will 3.1 have the ability to align while your within the practice range. Unless I'm missing something that seemed like an option before. Now I have to set my laser, then >exit session >level device > align mode.

If I'm being silly, my excuse is it's Monday and only one cup of coffee.
