  • SkyPro & SkyTrak 3.1+ integration - SkyPro requirements

    Please verify the following software requirements to allow full functionality between SkyPro and SkyTrak starting in release 3.1
    1. Windows 8.1 / Windows 10
    -- Specific levels for drivers?
    2. SkyPro android software
    -- V1.3.0b6 dated March 31, 2016 (newer version to be released)?
    3. SkyPro IOS software
    -- V2.2.2 dated January 30, 2018 (newer version to be released)?

    well, not sure what happened. But using Skytrak today, the Skypro integration worked fine. Didn't change any settings.

    the only thing different that I can think of is that I had skypro working on the iphone well before I turned the PC on and started up Skytrak.

    Noticed that when I activated BLE, that the connection to the iphone running the Skypro app was almost instant. Whereas, before, the connection took up to around 30 seconds or more.

    But now I had every shot read the club swing speed from Skypro, indicated in orange.

    No missed shots either.

      Gave up on my old SkyPro and ordered a new one yesterday. Looking forward to the SkyPro/SkyTrak combo!!!!!

        I was running the beta for roughly a week or so and really liked the club data that showed the image of your club's swing path. I think it was extremely helpful. Since I downloaded the GA version I cannot find that any longer, was that taken out?

          So I just bought a Sky Pro, primarily because I wanted to integrate it with the SkyTrak (which arrives today!). I installed the pp on my Galaxy S8 (running Android 8.0.0) and the SkyPro app doesn't run at all it just loads to a white screen (See attached screenshot). Is this what you are getting?

          I noticed that the Android app hasn't been updated for 2 years, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by the fact it doesn't work.

          It works fine on my Sony Z4 tablet, but that can be a pig to calibrate owing to it's size

          Any advise you can give would be great. Is this what I should expect for the rest of my ownership experience?

            Damn...I guess it was only a matter of time before the app stop working with later drops of Android...they need to sort themselves out!

            Did you ever get an answer on this? I too just bought the SKYPRO and cant get it to load on my s8 which is my primary device. Loaded fine on my stepson's s7. This is frustrating because s8 has been out a good while.

            Hi Bruce,

            No I didn't. I have a ticket open with Sky Golf. The long and short of it is that they just haven't kept the Android app up to date, and now compatibility issues are appearing. They tell me they are working with Samsung to sort it, but there is no date. My guess is that we won't see anything until the next big drop that will fix this issue along with SkyTrak Integration and a bunch of other stuff that has waited 2 years to be fixed.

            Out of interest are you getting the same white screen as me?

            The good news is that when it's working it's a great tool. I have it running to my Sony Z4 tablet. I spent an hour over a couple of days grooving my putting stroke and I am seeing immediate results. Can't wait to start using it for full swings!

            Used both products successfully yesterday. Works stellar! Love the "Groove" mode while seeing the outcome of the ball.

              So, I have a Galaxy S6 Edge that works fine with the Skypro app, but when I try to Enable the Skypro in Skytrak, nothing happens. Am I missing something??

                The Android software for SKYPro hasn't been updated in years and will not allow integration with SKYTrak. No definitive time-frame for a SKYPro software update is available

              Happy to report that finally SkyGolf have updated the SkyPro Android app. Not sure if it is generally available yet, but I got Beta access because I complained so much

                My skypro was dead to the world, a suspected battery issue. I opened it, and noted the battery voltage (3.7) as well as dimensions. I found a similar one (slightly smaller) on Amazon for a few bucks. I had to wait a few weeks, but it arrived today. Just had to remove the old battery wires, strip and resolder the new ones, and reassemble. All in all about 20 minutes. Success. I was about to buy a new one. Happy I didn't.

                  Could you please give us more details about the battery specs, dimensions, name, volt , ah or even a link to where you bought it from.

                  I think most peoples skypro's packup due to battery issues.

                  Replacing the battery yourself will save alot of people shipping and refurb charges.

                I do like that the Skytrak shows the club head speed in orange text when it received the data from the SkyPro. Had a few swings where the SkyPro couldn't register for whatever reason and the Skytrak just used it's own algorithm (defaulting back to the normal text color) for club head speed. No delay in that process.
                Other than that, I don't use the Skypro very often due to the calibration required when switching clubs, or even the same club when the device think it was removed.
                Can you post a pic of themSkyTrak screen reading the SkyPro please?
