33-50% of shots not recognized/non-reads -SOLVED-

here is the one setup i have of my garage, its not currently in there now so i only have the one angle. in terms of your tips.
i have tried both sitting on the mat and not
i have used everything from new white balls to tru vis balls
height is correct
this happens during the day and at night so at night there is litte to no ambient light
i am not sure if its in the pic but i put a black cushion behind me when i am hitting so that the background for the st is dark
i have tried moving the ball everywhere. i got a little better moving it kinda closer but it was still a very small percentage of reads.


again took it outside and the st works fine

It shouldn’t be, your background does look similar to my set up, lighting tone is consistent. I’m talking with skygolf on Friday a tier 2 support group and will let this site know the results. Can there be a glitch in latest software that impacts the camera? I’d think that the unit would be built to work in different lighting conditions and environments. This is intriguing.

so now im really frustrated. brough the unit outside last night to the exact spot as this weekend, exact same setup and had 1 of 60 shots read with the only read being a little chip i hit with my 9 iron to see if the thing was even awake.

Did you try just the one chip? I am wondering if most chips read, what could that mean? It would have to be something related to ball speed or trajectory.

yeah just tried the one. going to set it up again tonight to see how it goes.

so last night, set it up first two chips worked. went 9 for 9 with pitching wedge. tried to go over to wgt which went 0 for 7 on hybrid shots and 0 for 6 with a 7 iron. switched back to practice mode and went 0 for 20 with 7 irons before battery ran out. i am beyond frustrated and wish i could just return this thing but it is too far from purchase. i dread using it at this point because i know how aggravated i am going to get when it doesnt work.
