Brand New SkyTrak having USB issues

Hi, I am new to the simulator world. I just recently purchased the SkyTrak. I’ve hooked it up to a high powered gaming computer and connected to a projector. Whenever the SkyTrak is connected via USB I cannot register a shot. However when on WiFi, works perfectly every time.

Please se give me some advice? I really wanted to connect using USB as I prefer the connection and need the WiFi for my internet connection.

I did see on YouTube that this issue has been brought up before. I spoke with the Par2Pro guys and they said this hasn’t been an issue. They also suggested I disconnect most of the settings on the computer.

    Please help!!

    Thank you!

Connecting via WiFi should not affect your internet connection if both your PC and SkyTrak are connected to a wireless router in Network Mode.

It could be the order of how you connect the USB cable and turn on your PC, as well as starting the Skytrak app. I use the USB connection and this is the sequence that I follow. Plug in power to laptop, plug in USB to both ST and laptop, turn on laptop, start the ST app, then finally turn on the ST. Worth trying?

We had similar issues with our USB connection - and after shifting to WiFi, it's been reliable.

We still get a few missed shots - but those are more likely due to ball placement and loft of the shot - and not USB vs. WiFi.
