HI guys
I see the ES16 now sells for $3995.
If this thing works indoors, or if they can get it to work indoors, that's not a bad price for ball and club data, is it?
Skytrak version 2 could maybe included club and ball data for $3995 - (You listening Rapsodo).
Could this be why Foresight has taken over Red chain software, Trackman taken over JNPG, E6 developing online stuff, and why these companies are trying to establish subscription based schools, and trying to lock down software.
Maybe trackmans, flightscopes, foresights hardware doesn't really cost that much to manufacture? Would explain the foresight, milk it while you can, pricing policies.
The problem with software is that given a little time, smart guys out there always hack it, chip it or mode it some how.
I think the cameras in our smart phones will soon be able to track golf balls etc and people will just download an app and use their phone as a launch monitor.
Levv golf just the start of it in my opinion.
Whats your view of the future of launch monitors in the next 5 years?
regards
