Extended warranty and Skycare plans?

I'm looking at possibly getting a Skytrak unit and was looking for some opinions on these addons. Has anyone bought them, did they seem worth it in retrospect?

Having a bit of trouble seeing what the difference is; does not say much about the standard / extended warranty on the Skytrack store site.

I am not that familiar with the extended warranty for the sktyraks..never looked. This is insurance and I believe insurance is to prevent you from a major expense. Now what is a major expense is relative to your net worth. Also, extended warranties in general are a money maker for the company...in this case skytrak. So, if 2500 does not kill your budget I would not get it. if 2500 would cause you not to eat...then get it. Or, do not get and if your skytrak breaks well, do not use it to you have the cash to fix it or replace it. Hope this helps. I did not get it and generally do not get extended warranties.

Check with your credit card. Sometimes they have double warranty coverage.
