This is a question that may have been answered but I have not yet found the answer. Does TGC use its own algorithms based on only the Ball speed, Launch angle, spin, etc. from Skytrak that it uses to calculate distance and flight path? Or does it get all of the flight information from Skytrak and then just apply that to the TGC software?
It seems that my golf shots have more draw/fade movement on TGC then they do while I am at the "range" in the Skytrak software. My bigger concern is will the high speed ball tests that Skytrak has been working on carry over into the TGC and TGC 2019. My driver seems to be roughly 10-15 yards sorter on Skytrak and especially on TGC then what I get while actually out on the course.
I want to also mention that I am incredibly impressed by the Skytrak team and the constant work they are doing to improve the user experience. It is truly amazing to see all they work that they put into their product and the response they have to customer feedback that is provided on forums like these.
