  • SkyTrak won't open to practice but works with TGC

    For some reason when i click on the ST icon on my computer to practice I get an error and it won't open. I can go into TGC and play and the skytrak unit seems to be working fine?

    If you were in TGC got out and went into to ST range it will not work at least mine will not. I have to shut my ST and computer off and back on to reset them.

      have you noticed that the TGC server is still open in the background of the PC (if your playing on PC that is). I have to go into the system tray at the bottom right of the PC, next to the clock. TGC has an icon in there. I right click it and then close it down, then skytrak works.

    I did go to the system tray and right clicked the red shield icon and selected quit. Now that i think about it i moved my computer to a new location and unplugged all the wires. I will try and re-start the computer.

            Yeah, it sounds like the TGC interface that handles the SkyTrak connection is still open in the background. It's basically trying to launch 2 of the same SDK's at the same time and that's why you get the error. As others have suggested, just go to the system try in the lower right of the task bar, find TGC, and right-click>QUIT.
