SkyTrak wont power up

My SkyTrak will not power up. When I connect the USB to my computer or to the main power, the bottom light comes on yellow for about 10 seconds then goes out. No other lights come on and if I press power on the SkyTrak within the 10 seconds that the bottom light is yellow, it goes off immediately.
I have tried 3 different USB cables, but, the result is the same every time. I bought the unit new two and a half years ago. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. If I had to guess I would think that the battery is shot, but, I don,t know if the unit should run on power even if the battery is no good.

Try a different cable.

Thanks HT, as stated above I tried 3 different USB cables. I called ST customer service and they advised me to send it to them for repair. Hitting into my net without SkyTrak and TGC is not fun for me now.
