Update or TGC2019 this week?

We do not have any updates at this time but we are getting close!

SkyTrak_Jordan Getting close on which one the update or TGC2019? If you are looking at releasing the update first maybe the few of us that are active on the forum anxiously awaiting the TGC2019 email could petition ProTee to get us set up while we wait for the update. From watching the forums there can't be 5 to 10 of us left they are currently not playing 2019.

Am I correct in thinking the notifications for the TGC2019 upgrade, for folks who bought TGC in 2018, are going to happen soon? I believe ProTee said that SkyTrak would be e-mailing the notices for the upgrade for SkyTrak users.

Soon is going to be the key word. I am not sure ST's soon and our soon mean the same thing. I am looking at a scenario where St has a hot new update they are itching to release also. Can they do both at once?

SkyTrak_SethSkyTrak_Jordan , do you have any details on how you are correcting the high ball speed issues? is it the algorithm being adjusted, is there a hardware limitation you are trying to work around? my goal was to get my ball speed up to 180 by the summer months, but I'm not sure how far away I am today from true 180 speed given the discussions on this forum.

My understanding is that if you purchased before Jan 1 2018, the update will come from protee. After that date, it will come from SkyTrak. But there’s no guarantee even if you filled out the free upgrade form. I bought in April 2017 and I filled out the free upgrade request and still waiting. I’m not sure how they decided on the selection process. It seems kind of arbitrary since many on this board have received the upgrade and many have not. I’ve been monitoring the boards for the last few days and haven’t seen any new posts from people who have recently received the upgrade, so I hope they’re not done sending them out. I’m patiently waiting with fingers crossed.

Where does one find the free upgrade form you mention? Just being a registered owner (from before 1/1/18) won't result in notification of the upgrade and how to obtain it?

The period of time they had the request open has closed a while ago. You will probably have to try contacting TGC directly and requesting it. My understanding is they were offering this for active forum and tour members for those that purchased pre 2018.

That’s correct...the free update request was only up for a short period of time for tour players and active board members. However, like I said, there are no guarantees.

Same exact boat pre-2018 skytrak... I'm always on the forum and never saw the link. If that keeps me out, that'll be really crappy.
