Protee SDK not connected or not started

I'm getting the error Pro Tee SDK not connected or not started. Please start the Pro Tee SDK to continute or you may exit the game.

Both skytrak and TGC licenses are green in the interface.

it worked fine when I played last night.

    What to do?

I had the same thing the other night - restarted my PC and it worked. Maybe a bug of some sort... Tagging ProTee United so they see it for sure

edit- should have tagged Skytrak, not ProTee, but sounds like we have a fix. Thanks guys

Had the same issue when first running it. Sent a message to skytrak through their web chat and they had it fixed in 5 minutes using remote desktop.

Had this issue recently and can typically shut everything down and restart and it goes away but not this time, so I reached out to ProTee support. In the settings tab of the SkyTrak/TGC interface, they had me copy my license key, then hit the deactivate button (the license key goes blank), then paste my license key back in, then hit the activate button. Worked like a charm.

In the settings tab of the SkyTrak/TGC interface, copy the license key, then deactivate your account (the license key goes blank), then paste your license key back in and activate it

              these work with my sim

p.s. but my tgc2019 still cant save all setting and edit golfer every time I shutdown my PC it all go back to default...

Settings are stored in a profile on your HDD. Are you logged in as administrator?
                Profiles are stored here:

                C:\users\<your username>\AppData\LocalLow\HB Studios Multimedia Ltd_\The Golf Club 2019 ProTee\Common

Try creating a file in this folder and deleting it to find out if you have access.

You can also delete the profiles. These will be re-created when you start TGC 2019. Maybe it helps.

I had the same thing happen, the machine ID and license key on the TGC sim (when you click on the icon) and the ID and key for the ST interface were different. ProTee had me reinstall and sent me a link to reinstall quicker and that got rid of my error. It was frustrating there for a while, I have to admit but all is fine now.

Just had this come up after not playing for awhile.. google search led me here as usual and as usual.. solid info!

tried restarting comp - no luck.
went in to settings ctrl C, deactivate, ctrl V, activate. And I’m back playing in 5min.

                      thanks guys!

I have to deactivate and reactivate my license every single time I start TGC2019. Super-annoying, but at least it works. I've got a support ticket open with ProTee so I'll report back if I find a permanent solution. Cheers

I just had a TeamViewer remote support session with ProTee in Amsterdam, and my problem was I was launching the "Golf" program from the "ProTee United" folder directly, and I should've been launching it from "TGC Simulator Console" instead, so the "SDK" could load before the "Golf" program loads. Bottom line, always launch TGC2019 from "TGC Simulator Console"
