  • Unit not reading at all

Just got new clubs I was wanting to tryout and my skytrak isn’t registering anything. Unit turns on. Get all 3 green lights and the laser turns on. Hit the ball and nothing. Then laser doesn’t turn back on. Just curious if this recently happened to anyone else. Even redownloaded the software.

I had issues where the the unit just didn't pick anything up... the laser would always be on but nothing would register during a swing.

Ended up sending the unit back to repair. The laser curtain (is what I've heard it called) was replaced and it's been working since.

Check if the leftie side works. If you don't have a left club or golfer available, place the unit between your feet and the ball. Just be careful not to hit it. If leftie works, your right side laser curtain is gone. This is happening to so many people, that I have already budgeted for mine to be sent in for repair. Clearly a defective part with a much lower MTTF (mean time to failure) than expected. Here is a suggestion for Rhapsodo: Waive game improvement fee for 12 months for those who affected by this.

I have contacted SkyTrak support, sent them pictures of my setup etc. I am curious if you have different results with usb vs network mode vs direct mode. This is really frustrating. I would contact support to get the ball rolling.

I’m an idiot. My license was up even though it said I had several days left on my computer. Renewed today and it’s fine.

Haha... we could have been troubleshooting for an eternity before diagnosing this one.
