  • Issue with licensing today?

    Hi,

    I was using the skytrak in the morning (7 hours ago) but just tried to start it again now and it says checking licensing for ages in yellow?

    Anyone else experiencing this right now?

    SkyTrak_Seth Any help? Yes. Trying to play nine at lunch. Won’t connect in SkyTrak app or TGC. Will get a mixed bag of three green lights, hanging on connect or red, green, green. Please Wait Checking License Files in SkyTrak app. Tried rebooting computer, etc. No time to try resetting unit right now.

      Thank God it isn't just me! I tried my laptop and my Ipad.. neither worked.

      Any help SkyTrak people?

    Yep having the same issue today. Skytrak is getting to the point of being more aggravating than it's worth. Every time I try to use it I have to spent half an hour to get it to work. I still cant log in and have it save my sessions so no data to review.

      Yes, having the same problem, thank goodness, thought my baby was in trouble.

      They must be working on updating databases, we are due a software release of some kind.

      hope it gets sorted fast.

        I had the same problem and I contacted their support chat thingy: they were having problems with their webservice and databases. I could login however half an hour ago.

        Does this kind of thing happen a lot? I only have my skytrak for over a week and this is the second time this has happened. Last week I had the same problem when I contacted them to activate my play and improve membership. They failed to activate it due to similar problems. Since then I haven't been able to activate the membership.

          I've had my SkyTrak for 2 years and this is the first time this has had happened. My theory is this is related to the impending release. Maybe a mistake with the database migration or deployment issue of some sort.

          Yeah. I agree. Can't remember this ever being a thing. Was kind of thinking it must have something to do with an update too. I do however have to click connect box in the TGC interface multiple times, almost everytime, to get it to connect, but once it's connected, I stay connected, without problems.

        I am having the same issue right now. Skytrak did finally let me sign in, but just sits there at "checking license files". Can't connect to TGC interface either.

          I just chatted with Skytrak support as well and he said they are working on the issue and it should be resolved within a couple of hours. Guess I can stop incessantly clicking "connect box" now.

            I was hoping this would be fixed by time I got home to practice. No dice, this sucks!

              Weird thing happened last night after trying to get the ST to work by turning it off and on a few times I unplugged the USB cable and tried to play wireless and that worked. I was able to practice for over an hour on the range. I didn't try the premium options or TGC.

              I was happy to see this thread, which is what I was looking for after unsuccessfully trying to log on a minute ago. While I'm unhappy I can't use my ST, I'm very relieved the issue is a known problem and is on the other end.

              I don't think it's related, but just in case, my sim PC blue-screened for the first time in its life today. I was able to connect long enough to launch the game, but as TGC2019 was going through its load routine the machine crashed. Anyone else have a similar experience?

                Yes I do as well, however it was my first time ever trying to use TGC. I've re-installed and tested etc. and it keeps crashing my computer. I've even gone as far as stress-testing the GPU and CPU at the same time to see if its a power draw issue. Nope. Nothing

                I turned off my skytrak yesterday, but left the range open. Turned the skytrak back on and the range still works for me.
