    Inputting Skytrak Numbers into FlightScope Optimizer

    FlightScope has a great shot optimizer, which I would like to use to test the impact of decreasing my launch angle. My launch is 3-4 degrees higher than pga tour average throughout my wedges and irons. I want to see what happens to not just distance, but dispersion as well, if I were to be able to decrease my launch and spin rate (lower loft should spin less) and whether or not this would be worth working on in my game.

    FlightScope's Trajectory Optimizer is a golf ball flight trajectory program. The program will plot the flight of the ball in real time after the user's input of the initial launch conditions of the golf ball. Based on scientific algorithms, FlightScope's Trajectory Optimizer will help you find your optimal ball flight trajectory to add distance to your golf shots.


    Does anyone know how to crosswalk the skylark numbers into the FlightScope optimizer? Speed and launch angle make sense, but spin is displayed differently. Skytrak gives a side spin and back spin read out, while FlightScope is asking for an overall spin number and spin axis.

    you can toggle skytrak to give you spin axis instead

      I find ST and actual course play, I get longer distances than those FlightScope numbers....ST seems more in line with what I actually hit.

        Most mats will produce higher launch and lower spin. See if you can get a read from a grass range, you may already have tour numbers.

          If you double-click the side spin number, you switch it to the spin axis number.
