Thanks much, Mike!! Nice data.Originally posted by Mike Z View PostHKS - Having just downed a plate of crow, I am posting some swings. It appears that the side spin dirction does not have the effect I thought it had. I think I did learn something though. I calculated the % difference and sorted my swings by that percentage.What I noticed is that as spin goes down, so does the difference. see below: Swing Launch Spin Speed Side Horiz Angle ST Carry FS Carry Diff % 3 17 6175 117 798 -2 173 168 5 2.89% 1 17 5939 114 0 -4 171 161 10 5.85% 2 19 5656 110 649 -2 165 155 10 6.06% 5 17 5650 109 649 -3 162 152 10 6.17% 7 18 5619 115 321 -3 175 164 11 6.29% 4 16 5101 119 -271 -5 184 172 12 6.52% 6 17 5159 115 0 -3 178 166 12 6.74%
I put them in an image file for better viewing.
By the way, I wish I could hit a baby fade like you in a consistent way.Last edited by hks8888; 01-22-2015, 09:34 PM.

Thanks for formatting that. I had it in excel at the time but it would not copy in a formatted way. Looks like you have it in excel now. did you happen to sort by spin? Its been a lot of work getting that baby fade. Complete teardown and rebuild. I first learned the game as playing a draw - which, of course, turned into a hook which turned into quackers.

Yeah, I purchased it. I thought for another $100 bucks, might as well. It has some cool challenges. So if you and some of your buddies want to do closest to pin or longest drive contests. It also has a game where a player earns points the closer you hit to the pin. So if you are thinking about it and want something fun and competitive to play with your friends then its worth the $100.Originally posted by dt2511 View PostDid anyone buy the additional $99 SW package? Was it worth it? Hard to tell from the description if there's enough value there to justify the additional spend... Thanks!

Posted this on WRX and wanted to share here as well so I hope the copy/paste is fine...
The games/competitions are way more fun and engaging than I anticipated. Did closest to pin and target practice and it was awesome. When I felt distance was short or long, it showed as such. Same for pushes or pulls. What I feel is showing up. Need to get outside to test a bit but weather isn't helping my desire to go outside and hit at the heated bays.
I'll say this. I've probably hit 250 balls with this thing. That's $30 in range balls - plus I'm getting great feedback on each ball/swing. Only 13,970 more balls until this thing has paid for itself!!
