I take it you hook or pull the ball, hence the name closedclubface. Hopefully all companies will integrate with TGC. Then we can have multiple platforms with online play, tourneys etc. Stay tuned!Originally posted by closedclubface View PostGC2 looks great. My hope is that if new, lower cost LM are coming in the next 6-12 months then prices may drop for GC2 or the new models will compete on functionality (and have access to TGC!). Thanks for the feedback.Last edited by Bubba22; 10-30-2014, 10:11 PM.

I am an odd breed that hits toward the heel but never hits anything resembling a fade/slice unless I am trying to bend it round a tree! If there is a product that makes sense for the location where I am based then there is a real chance I would open an indoor facility here. The hints you guys have given make me want to wait a few months before spending any $$$$. Really appreciate all the info on this site!

So after going around and around with the live chat and finally getting the first guy to talk to the supervisor. The $99 game improvement is a one time fee, not a subscription. Even though the first person I was talking to thought it was a yearly fee.
______________
Skytrak: I was just talking to another higher Advanced Technical Support member and he just told me that
Skytrak: the $99.99 payment would be just one time and you will be able to use always
Skytrak: I am sorry, that was the information that i had
Skytrak: you were correct sir

That was the important part, i'll spare you the 100 other lines where I was copying and pasting from both their website and my receipt showing how nowhere on the site does it say anything about a yearly sub hahaha.
Anyway, here's still hoping that I made a good choice on this product. I'm having doubts but I'm sure once I start swinging away in my house i'll forget all about these stresses.

Nice, thanks for the confirmation Smacc! I also ponied up the extra $100 for the additional games, even though I thought it was kind of cheap they were charging for those. Once I heard people speculating that the $100 was a yearly fee I was taken back a bit :P
About the purchase in general, I feel I will get some good use out of it even if it is just for practice and worst case, I should hopefully be able to sell it with low/no loss with the $500 discount. I don't have a permanent spot I could set a Protee up in, so SkyTrak is really my only choice since I cannot afford a GC2.

Can you elaborate, or is it confidential?
Did both sides fail to come to an agreement or was it mostly one-sided? What's involved in these types of negotiations? You think SkyTrak would be all for helping their product sell especially when Protee makes it so easy to integrate.
Is it more complicated than Protee sells a hardware vendor a volume license and the hardware vendor gets a percentage of the software sold as well as making their hardware more appealing?
Guys at SkyTrak do not seem like they are playing with a full bag of clubs... Get it? A golf joke??!
