Yes show spudly some respect. Even if he works for SkyTrak he is still their most useful employee (pending video) of actually providing video of it in action that isn't mere marketing bs.

I have a good garge setup (not a studio or testing lab!) but a net return with a hitting screen and a video system. I also have a go pro and can shoot some good video of it in action and let you guys know what I think. I will post a link to my dropbox later.

Thank you kind sir! Does it come with a stand that auto levels it?

It has a pretty wide base, wider than it looks in the picture. I do not picture it moving or falling over but no stand. It is one of the thinigs I will watch for when hitting tonight, does it move or could it use a stand kind of like a playstation base on it for more stability.

              • Not asking him to review the unit nor is he obligated to. Many of you will eventually do a fair and unbias review once we receive the item. That will suffice for the future buyers.

Question is what make that unit pictured here not part of the stranded shipment and part of the delay charade....... just calling out the elephant in the room..

                • The email from the contact i have stated they did ship out limited quantities on Friday. So if everything were on the up and up, people could have them now. Hard not to be pessimistic at this point though.

                  • Lets see if those that were shipped out early are impacted by the apps upgrade!!!

                    • I have been lurking this forum and thread for awhile and I just wanted to say that everyone here who thinks this has been a terrible launch are being way too harsh. Virtually every new product launch has unexpected hurdles. Halo for xbox one launched 2 weeks ago, a multi-million dollar franchise, and it is still completely broke. They don't even have a timetable for when it will be fixed. It is not uncommon for this kind of thing to happen, and in my opinion, nothing terrible has happened yet with SkyTrak. You guys are expecting a flawless release, but that hardly ever happens in any industry. Apple just delayed their smart watch by MONTHS, and Apple is a 700 billion dollar company. It is like you guys have never experienced a new product launch before- this is all par for the course. I'm reading stuff in this thread like 'people should be fired' and 'this is deplorable', lol.

                      • At the end of the day, this is a company that is trying to give us something for $2,000; that up until now had cost us $7,000. I for one, will be cutting them a little slack.

Agreed. I think people are overreacting in general. A few days or weeks to let the dust settle is good.

This is a better situation than the company having a rolling release date window and the staff does not have any pressure to release and it just goes on and on without update.

                          • Or $1500 if you bought in early (quite a savings over the GC2 if you were only looking for ball data and range aspect). For me, the $500 was too much to pass up, so I pre-ordered knowing it's initial limitations.

I tend to agree. Late shipment of launch products are hardly unexpected. Disappointing? Yes, but nothing to get too worked up over. Let's wait until these things arrive in pieces before we try to lynch someone. Staying clam is better for the golf game anyways.

                              • sorry I started a Spudly conspiracy theory hahah.
I agree with the people above, yes it is frustrating that the delivery was delayed, for whatever reason, but too much excitement about a new toy is driving some people crazy and they just need to relax a bit. We will all get our units soon enough and then we can move our complaints to 'when will we get our sim software'' hahaha.
There is always something to complain about and I'm sure that everyone here has had to tell someone at sometime in their lives i'm sorry for the delay.
Just take some deep breaths, eat some food and you will be swinging your clubs in no time.
