Thanks for the update. If Apple approves the update in the next 24/48 hours will any units ship on Friday or is the office closed for Thanksgiving until Monday ?

        • OK, here you go. First off I have been hitting for the last hour, it was hard to pull away and do this, and I am going back out and try some of the challenges. As you can see (boggie golfer) I do not work for Skytrak, I wish I did man that would be a cool job.

          This thing is friggin AWESOME!

Ok, for starters yes the delay is about 4 secs, I am not concerned as I am sure the PC version will be much quicker and yes it will have to be for simulation. WOW! it is really accurate, I tried every club in my bag and I know my distances and my feel (5.0) handicap and this thing was perfect. When I setup to hit a low hook it did it, same for a setup with a fade, high lob, punch, chip no problems!

I include the picture of the base, someone asked about stability, the unit is really stable, but if you look at the picture there is what appears to be places for a shield or base or something in the future.

Here is the link to the video, it is a dropbox link, if soemone knows how to upload a video directly to this site please let me know and I will do that also. I used a 6 iron in this shot which I usually hit about 180 or so, I pulled it a little but was really warmend up and went after it.

I hope the above works, please let me know if anyone is having problems, I can email you link also, PM me if needed.

              • the link works for the video, nice little set up there.
The delay is a bit to work with but the data is the important stuff here. thanks for putting this up.

**edit - what version ipad are you using

                  • Spudly must have used 1.5 (current) version... Why did they stop shipping the units? I am still puzzled!

                    • Thanks Spudly. Thoughts on the horizontal azimuth accuracy?

                      • I am here in the garage now, I have the IPad mini2 with retina display, and the 1.5 beta app. There is a note that comes in the box that says do not register the product online until the 1.6 app is released sometime here real soon.

I have to say the closet to the pin challenges are really fun, this will be more than enough to keep me going until they release the simulator option.

I have over emphasized several types of shots, placed the ball back in my stance and a low running hook, forward and an open club face for a slice fade and as far as I can tell all very accurate. So far not one missed shot out of about 90.

                          • Great job! Spudly. You gave us the first end-user review. Way to go!
I can now sleep in peace.

                            • Spudly, I have had the unit for a long time. Its very accurate like I said. Note the horizojntal angle of your shot on the screen and how it compares to the units horizontal angle. That is the weakest part of its measurement.

                              • I hope everyone gets theirs soon, it is getting ready to snow here in Ohio and I will have a place to work on my game. I am looking forward to their introduction of simulation software, but the great thing is that what they said about the practice being fun, it is.

I am also really happy with the price, it allowed me to upgrade my other componets and be ready when the sim does come.

                                All in all, very happy.
